Pallet bar stools – The key to making a stool from a pallet is to start with quality wood. The longest of its trunk of a tree has died, the better. In fact, if you find one that has been dead longer and lose its bark, you’re in luck. Maybe you can skip the most laborious part of the transformation process. Once you have the right dry pallet, you are well on your way to creating a natural stump that is sure to be a topic of conversation.

Pallet bar stools, cut the wood with a saw or chain saw. Make the cut perpendicular to the center line of the tree. If you are cutting wood pallet, you will have to make two cuts one for the top and bottom of the wood. If your first cuts are not as level as you want, smooth them out with a hacksaw. A comfortable seat diameter for a stool is usually 15 to 20 inches.

Make pallet bar stools, leave your wood to dry in a cool, dry place, with plenty of air circulation. If you have purchased dead, long dried wood from a wood supplier, the wood will only have to dry for two or three weeks. If the wood is fresh from your garden, let it dry for at least two months. Turn the trunk once every two weeks so that it dries evenly.
